Ceraflo-MABR Membrane
Material and structure
Ceraflo MABR membrane is made of hollow fiber membrane, and the hollow fiber membrane is a
kind of micron PTFE membrane wire which is made using our own patented technology. Thus, the air
in the membrane wire can penetrate outward through the micron pores, so that the dissolved oxygen
in water can be better improved and the energy consumption is lower.
Working principle

A hollow fiber membrane with micron pores, the
air flow inside, and penetrate outward through the
micron pores, two layer biofilm attached on the
outer surface of the fiber membrane, the inner
layer aerobic biofilm and the outer layer anoxic
biofilm.
The distribution of biofilm has a good effect on
the further effective utilization of carbon source.
Most aerobic and anoxic microorganisms will be
enriched on the inner side of fibre membrane.
The effective carbon source in sewage can only
be contacted by through the anoxic or anaerobic
biofilm diffusion which is on the outer surface of
the biofilm system.
